01Prepare one approved set of files.
Send one approved folder, not a collection of email attachments. Give it a version name, list every file and record the total size. Include the intended device model and the order in which the content should play. Supply only material you are authorized to reproduce.
- Content version and approval date
- File paths, file count and total bytes
- Device model, firmware and supported audio formats
- Required folders, names and playback order
02Files or a complete card image?
Ordinary audio content usually starts with a file package. A complete card image also carries a partition layout and file system. Use an image only when the equipment actually depends on that layout, and agree how it will be prepared and validated.
| Delivery method | Useful when | Confirm first |
|---|---|---|
| File package | The player reads ordinary files and folders | Formats, names, folder limits and playback order |
| Card image | The device needs a particular storage layout | Target card size, partitions, licensing and device test |
| Mixed versions | Different products need different content | Separate version IDs, labels and packing records |
03Copying in parallel is not the whole process.
A multi-slot duplicator or several managed readers may increase throughput. The result depends on the readers, connection, card write speed and verification method. Confirm a trial batch before promising a production rate. Do not multiply a single-card speed by the number of slots and call that output capacity.
- Check the master before loading the batch.
- Record the master version and the cards included in each run.
- Agree whether each card receives file verification and how device playback will be sampled.
- Separate failed or incomplete cards before packing.
04Approve a sample that represents the delivery.
Play the first, middle and last files on the intended equipment. Check restart behavior and the required sequence. Keep the approved sample reference with the content version. File checksums—values used to check whether file data matches—help compare the copies; they do not prove that a player accepts the format or plays files in the right order.
Estimate the data-writing time
Measure the write rate per slot while all slots are active. Test one run first if needed. Defaults are examples. Verification, card handling and retries are extra.
Decimal units: 1 GB = 1,000 MB. Content per card ÷ rate per slot × runs. This is not a YOULEN production-time commitment.
Yes, we can disclose the bill of materials (BOM). We use the agreed sample as the reference for repeat orders. This is a controlled-change process, not a promise that components will remain available forever.
