Does YOULEN supply every capacity?

No. Our current configuration sheet covers 2GB–256GB. We do not currently supply 512GB or 1TB.

We help match capacity to the content your device holds or the recording time you need.

Your requirementWhat we confirm
2GB–256GBWe identify the proposed configuration and quantity for each capacity before sampling.
512GB / 1TBPrices for 512GB and 1TB are currently high. They do not match the commercial-device demand we mainly serve.

Does YOULEN offer every speed class? Can the marks be printed legally?

Our answerThe facts behind our answer
No. Our regular supply includes Class 6 (C6) and Class 10 (C10). C6 is commonly used in our 4GB and 8GB configurations; U1 or U3 options depend on the configuration. We cannot promise every speed class or print every mark. The proposed card must meet the claimed performance, and the requested marks must be permitted under the applicable licensing arrangement.

Your proposal identifies the speed class and reference read/write results for the selected capacity.

V30 (Video Speed Class) and A2 (Application Performance Class) are not standard across our range. We confirm requested performance and marks before sample or artwork approval.

UHS means Ultra High Speed. A U3 card is not automatically a V30 or A2 card.

What flash memory and quality options will I receive?

Our answerThe facts behind our answer
Our regular configurations mainly use Micron and SK hynix flash. We explain the material, write-endurance and temperature options for your device, so you can balance cost and quality.

The proposal identifies the flash brand and the selected configuration. The brand alone does not establish the flash technology or grade.

Our sheet includes 0°C–70°C and −25°C–85°C configurations. The range and repeated-writing capability belong to the selected card, not every card we supply.

If you require TLC (triple-level cell), QLC (quad-level cell) or a particular material grade, we check that requirement for the proposed configuration. We do not infer it from the brand name.

Is every card tested before shipment?

Our answerThe facts behind our answer
Yes. Every card is fully tested before shipment. Finished-card checks include bad-block and speed checks.

For camera and recorder applications, our test setups also record and overwrite footage repeatedly. This is separate from the finished-card checks.

You still need a sample that works in your own product. We help discuss the recording or playback checks; customers usually validate audio, learning-device and toy samples in their own equipment.

The approved sample code links to its configuration and test information. A speed result alone does not prove compatibility with every device.

Device sample checks

Will you share the BOM, and can I keep the same configuration for repeat orders?

Our answerThe facts behind our answer
Yes, we can disclose the bill of materials (BOM). We use the agreed sample as the reference for repeat orders. This is a controlled-change process, not a promise that components will remain available forever.

The sample’s laser-engraved code lets us look up its configuration and test information. We can discuss your component restrictions before sample approval.

If component availability requires a BOM change, we provide a new sample at least one month before the proposed change for your testing and confirmation.

You can test the proposed replacement before accepting the change. We do not treat a different configuration as equivalent simply because the capacity is the same.

Can you make cards under my brand with microSD names and logos?

Our answerThe facts behind our answer
Shenzhen Youlin Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is listed as a current SD-3C Card License Agreement (CLA) licensee. Your private-label product and artwork still need an order-specific licensing check.

Shenzhen Youlen Electronics Co., Ltd. is an SD Association member. That membership is different from the SD-3C card-manufacturing license held by Shenzhen Youlin Semiconductor Co., Ltd. We identify both legal names so you know which record supports which claim.

The SD-3C license covers selected card types under its agreement. The public listing alone does not show the complete product scope. We need to establish the manufacturing entity, card type and permitted microSD names or logos for your proposed order.

Your own brand is not automatically granted every right by our membership or the licensing record. Whether your brand needs a separate agreement, and whether UHS-I, U3, V30 or A2 marks may be used, must be resolved for the manufacturing arrangement and product before artwork approval.

Do YOULEN cards come with a warranty?

Our answerThe facts behind our answer
Yes. Our card supply includes a one-year warranty, including cost-focused configurations. We replace faulty cards under the agreed warranty conditions.

User-caused damage is excluded. Returned used cards are inspected and assessed before replacement.

We explain coverage, returns and shipping arrangements with the order. Our standard warranty is one year, not three or five years.

A selected supply plan can also include an agreed one-year in-use failure-rate limit. This is a commercial commitment for that plan, not a historical defect-rate statistic.

Can I see your quality certificates and product compliance documents?

Our answerThe facts behind our answer
We have copies of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality-management certificates. These concern company systems; they do not certify every individual card or every product requirement.

You can view the certificate copies on our Quality & Testing page.

Product documents such as Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) reports must match the proposed product and target market. Our archived reports cover particular samples, not an automatic whole-range claim.

If you need UK or EU market documents, we first check which existing documents match your order and which requested evidence is still missing.

What are commercial-use cards? Why a memory card solution provider?

Our answerThe facts behind our answer
We supply cards as part of the devices and services you sell. Our job is to match the card to that use, with a sensible balance of cost, performance and quality.

Commercial use describes the buying purpose, not a separate official speed class. A camera needs repeated writing; a preloaded audio player may mainly read files.

This is a different purchasing task from choosing a major-brand retail card by its advertised maximum speed, or ordering a promotional card mainly for its printed logo. Those products are not automatically better or worse; the requirements are different.

You get configuration advice, sample confirmation, testing, controlled changes and warranty support. We do not present a cost-focused card as a direct equivalent to every premium retail model.

So, what will you get from our reply?

A clear proposal for the card and the supply terms, with any points still awaiting confirmation identified.

  • CapacityThe proposed capacity.
  • Speed classesThe applicable speed classes: Class 6 or Class 10, and U1 or U3 where offered.
  • Tested read/write speedsReference results and available test conditions.
  • Write enduranceOur recommendation for your device and workload.
  • NAND flash brandThe brand in the proposed configuration.
  • Operating temperatureThe range for that card.
  • Product warrantyOne-year coverage and replacement terms.
  • Custom requirementsThe agreed branding, packaging and content-loading requirements, as stated in your quote.

The device model, recording or playback pattern, and planned quantity make this discussion smoother. You do not need a finished technical specification to start.

A clear device model and usage scenario help us give you a more useful reply. We can discuss engineering samples and a mixed-capacity pilot order. We confirm the minimum order quantity (MOQ), branding and packaging terms for the proposed configuration.
