Continuous recording
For continuous recording, check both usable capacity and repeated-write endurance. Use the camera’s actual video data rate to estimate how much footage the card can retain.
Security cameras & CCTV
Memory card supply for security-camera manufacturers, brands and distributors—covering continuous or event-based recording, device sampling, OEM options and repeat orders.

Before repeat supply
For camera brands, installers and distributors, card recognition is the first check. The handover also needs usable footage and a repeatable setup.
Check the camera model, firmware, supported card capacity and speed requirement. Record whether it writes continuously, on a schedule or after an event. Plan retention from the actual bitrate and recording time.
After protecting any needed files, prepare the card using the camera-supported method. With disposable test footage, check scheduled and event clips, timestamps, playback and export. Fill the card to verify its configured overwrite behaviour.
Record the card and camera identities, settings, test date and outcome. Show the customer how to check storage warnings and retrieve footage. Agree who reviews card condition and arranges replacement.
Define the sample count, test duration and pass criteria for your project. Include temperature and controlled power-interruption checks where the device requires them; a short sample check does not establish card lifespan.
