Driving and parking footage
Front and rear cameras write to the same card in many recorders. Include every channel and parking mode when planning capacity and endurance. Check how protected clips affect space for new recordings.
Dashcams & vehicle recorders
Memory card supply for dashcam manufacturers, brands and distributors—with sample options for device testing, OEM presentation and repeat orders.

Before repeat supply
For first-fit cards, upgrades and replacement stock, agree the test with the recorder team before choosing a repeat-order configuration.
Record the model and firmware, then list the channels and their combined bitrate. Include parking mode, event clips and daily recording hours. Check the supported capacity and speed requirement in the recorder documentation.
Use disposable test footage. Fill the card through a full loop, then replay recent clips from every channel. Check that older unprotected clips are replaced, protected clips behave as expected and recording resumes after a normal restart.
Keep the approved card reference, firmware, settings and test result together. Give your customer a setup and inspection note. Recheck the configuration when the recorder, firmware or supplied card changes.
Define the sample count, test duration and pass criteria for your project. Include temperature and controlled power-interruption checks where the device requires them; a short sample check does not establish card lifespan.
Why a card can work on your computer but not in your product, and what to confirm before buying a batch.
For device brands and suppliers: check normal, event and parking areas and back up important footage first.
