16GB TF Card · Bulk supply
For larger audio collections, learning content and recording tasks with a defined retention window. Available configurations differ in both temperature range and write budget.
Final product specifications, availability and commercial terms follow our written quotation.
Vehicle and security recording remain key uses for 16GB cards. Elevator advertising displays offer another local-storage example: their capacity requirement comes from the content package and update reserve rather than the number of playback hours.

A 16GB TF card offers space for several advertising campaigns or language versions on elevator displays. Allow for new and old content to coexist during updates, and confirm the player’s supported capacity, file system and video formats.

Music collections and navigation files share local storage. 16GB suits a defined set of maps and media kept in the vehicle.

A shorter loop of driving footage may be sufficient when recordings are reviewed or copied frequently. 16GB keeps the focus on the required recording window.

Event-triggered clips can use much less space than continuous recording. 16GB is a capacity to consider for limited clip retention rather than a long 24-hour recording archive.

Compare the listed write budgets and operating temperatures independently. Select both for the workload and actual environment; these are general-purpose configurations, not exclusive application categories.
| Capacity / format | 16GB TF Card |
|---|---|
| Applications | Audio · In-vehicle · Surveillance · Digital signage · and more |
| Speed | Class 10 (C10) / UHS Speed Class 1 (U1) / UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) options. Confirm the speed class for the selected configuration. |
| Write endurance | Compare the configurations below. Full-card write figures belong to the selected configuration. |
| NAND flash / controller | Micron / SK hynix — exact flash and controller parts are disclosed in your order’s bill of materials (BOM). |
| Warranty | One-year warranty with replacement of covered faulty cards. Any first-year failure-rate ceiling is agreed for the specific configuration. |
| Configuration | Full-card writes¹ | Temperature | Speed selection |
|---|---|---|---|
| Configuration 1 | 300 | 0°C to 70°C | See speed specification above |
| Configuration 2 | 500 | −25°C to 85°C | See speed specification above |
| Configuration 3 | 800–1000 | −25°C to 85°C | See speed specification above |
¹ Approximate full-card writes: repeatedly writing an amount equal to the card capacity. These are not raw flash-cell erase cycles or a calendar-life guarantee. Confirm the exact configuration with your sample and quotation.
For recording, multiply the data recorded per day by the days you need to retain. Add any protected clips and other files that must stay on the card. Compare this total with usable capacity before choosing 16GB or 32GB.
Illustrative storage calculation: at 8GB recorded per day, 16GB represents two days and 32GB four days before allowing for formatting, protected files and the recorder’s storage rules. These are capacity estimates, not measured recording times.
Within 16GB, the 300-write option is rated for 0°C to 70°C; the 500- and 800–1000-write options cover −25°C to 85°C. Their reference cumulative write budgets are 4,800GB, 8,000GB and 12,800–16,000GB respectively. Select the temperature range and budget together, then test recording, loop overwrite and playback in your device.
Component transparency
Request the bill of materials (BOM), including flash memory and controller details, for your proposed configuration.
Agree a locked BOM so repeat orders follow the approved component configuration.
If material availability requires a BOM change, we provide new samples at least one month before the proposed change for your testing and approval. Changes are confirmed with you before implementation.
Plan storage and writing
Content updates and recordings can write very different amounts each day. Choose a full-card write reference, then enter your actual workload.
| Illustrative daily writes | Full-card writes / day | Write-budget estimate |
|---|---|---|
| 1GB per day | 0.0625 | >10 years |
| 4GB per day | 0.25 | 3.29 years |
| 8GB per day | 0.5 | 1.64 years |
| 16GB per day | 1 | 0.82 years |
Examples are planning inputs, not measured typical usage. Estimates above ten years are shown as >10 years to avoid implying a calendar-life promise. Temperature, power interruptions and device writing behaviour also affect service life. Warranty remains one year.
Capacity × full-card writes ÷ daily written GB ÷ 365. Decimal units: 1GB = 1,000MB = 1,000,000KB. This is a write-budget calculation, not a failure date.
