4GB is a candidate when a fixed content package outgrows 2GB but does not need a larger library. Check the complete package, spare space and device support; the application name alone does not determine capacity.
Learning devices
Count lesson audio, illustrations and each language pack together. Test the complete course on a sample, including file order and the room needed for later updates.
Smart toys
A fixed collection of stories, songs and voice prompts can be loaded for offline use. Check the toy’s file naming and folder limits as well as the total package size.
Speakers with card playback
Size the intended playlist using the actual encoded files. Test supported audio formats and playback order; listening does not consume the same write budget as repeatedly replacing the library.
Embedded devices
Allow for interface assets, prompts and configuration files plus logs created during operation. Confirm 4GB card support and the required file system in the target device.

¹ Full-card writes mean repeatedly writing an amount of data equal to the card capacity. They are not raw flash-cell erase cycles or a calendar-life guarantee.
Will your content package fit on 4GB?
Measure the complete lesson, audio or device-file package, including every language version. Leave room for files the device creates and future updates, then check the usable space on a formatted sample.
If the complete package fits on a 2GB card and the device supports that card standard, extra capacity may not be needed.
If the package exceeds 2GB, test it on 4GB. Consider 8GB when the content and update reserve exceed the usable space.
A device limited to SDSC cannot be made to accept 4GB by formatting it.

Test the complete package in the target device: file and folder limits, playback order, startup and content replacement. Playing stored audio reads data; replacing that audio uses the write budget.

Samples before a change
If material availability requires a BOM change, we provide new samples at least one month before the proposed change for your testing and approval. Changes are confirmed with you before implementation.

Playing existing audio or reading files does not consume the write budget in the same way as replacing content. These examples cover small updates through a full library refresh.

Examples are planning inputs, not measured typical usage. Estimates above ten years are shown as >10 years to avoid implying a calendar-life promise. Temperature, power interruptions and device writing behaviour also affect service life. Warranty remains one year.

What warranty can you expect from YOULEN?
This 4GB configuration (800 full-card write cycles) has a first-year failure-rate ceiling of 0.5%. Covered faulty cards are replaced during the one-year warranty.
- Contact us with the issue
Provide the order or batch reference, affected quantity, device and fault description.
- Return for assessment
Used cards are returned for inspection and assessment before replacement. User-caused damage is excluded.
- Agree the replacement
Faulty cards covered by warranty are replaced. Confirm the return address, shipping allocation and replacement arrangements with us.
How does the 5‰ commitment work?
The rate ceiling does not mean faulty cards below that threshold are excluded from warranty. The written order confirms the covered batch, start date, use conditions and handling if the agreed ceiling is exceeded. Ask us to include these terms in your quotation.
Our standard process specifies factory inspection and return within seven days after the returned material arrives. This does not include international shipping time.
